Annual Sports Day

Shree Narayan Medical Institute and Hospital organised Annual Sports Day 2026 to promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities.

Celebrating Fitness, Teamwork and Sportsmanship

Shree Narayan Medical Institute and Hospital organised Annual Sports Day 2026 with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff.

The event created an energetic atmosphere across the campus and encouraged students to engage in physical activity, teamwork, friendly competition, and healthy recreation alongside their academic responsibilities.

A Day of Sporting Activities

Students participated in a variety of individual and team-based sporting activities designed to promote fitness, coordination, discipline, and team spirit.

The programme included activities such as:

  • Track and field events
  • Running races
  • Team sports
  • Relay competitions
  • Indoor and outdoor games
  • Recreational activities

Participants displayed enthusiasm and competitive spirit while supporting their classmates and teams throughout the event.

Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle

Physical activity is an important part of maintaining overall health and well-being.

Annual Sports Day provided an opportunity to reinforce the importance of regular exercise, endurance, physical fitness, and active lifestyles among medical students.

As future healthcare professionals, students are encouraged not only to understand the benefits of physical activity but also to incorporate healthy habits into their own lives.

Building Teamwork and Leadership

Sport plays an important role in developing qualities that extend beyond the playing field.

Through participation in team activities and competitions, students develop:

  • Teamwork and cooperation
  • Leadership
  • Discipline
  • Decision-making
  • Resilience
  • Respect for others

These qualities are equally valuable in medical education and future clinical practice.

Balancing Academics and Campus Life

Medical education requires dedication and sustained academic effort, but opportunities for recreation and extracurricular participation are equally important for student development.

Events such as Annual Sports Day help students refresh, connect with peers, and experience a more balanced and engaging campus life.

Recognising Participation and Achievement

The event concluded with the recognition of students and teams who demonstrated outstanding performance, teamwork, and sportsmanship during the competitions.

The enthusiasm shown by participants and supporters made the programme a memorable part of the academic year.

Annual Sports Day celebrates not only winning, but also participation, perseverance, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition.
