About SNMIH
Established in 2010, SNMIH today combines a 200-seat MBBS programme and 38 MD/MS programme with an attached multi-speciality teaching hospital.
Who We Are
A Medical College with a Hospital at Its Heart
Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital brings medical education and patient care together on one campus in Saharsa, Bihar.
Students learn medicine in the classroom and continue that learning through clinical training at the attached teaching hospital. With 200 MBBS seats each year, SNMIH is building a growing community of students, teachers, doctors and healthcare professionals.
At the same time, the hospital serves Saharsa and surrounding communities through outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic and specialist care.

Building the physicians of tomorrow.
Founded to serve the health-care and educational needs of the Kosi region of Bihar, SNMIH combines a purpose-built academic campus with a 930-bed multi-speciality teaching hospital. The result is uninterrupted clinical exposure from day one — a rarity in Indian medical education.
Our numerous activities are led by qualified personnel and enthusiastic young men and women. The medical college and associated hospital have the capacity to render complete dedication to running educational institutions successfully.
