About the Library
Established in 2021, the Central Library at Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital supports students, faculty and researchers with textbooks, reference material, journals, e-books and other academic resources. Its reading, circulation and digital facilities are designed to support teaching, independent study and research across the institution.

Library Services
The Central Library provides reading, circulation, reference and digital services for students, faculty members and researchers.
Dedicated reading spaces support students, faculty members and researchers.
Eligible library members can borrow available materials in accordance with the published issue rules.
Reference services help users identify appropriate academic and subject-specific resources.
Computers and electronic resources provide additional ways to access academic information.
SNMIH reports access to resource discovery, document delivery and interlibrary loan services through DELNET.
Supporting facilities include Wi-Fi access and reprography services within the library.
Library at a Glance
The Central Library brings together dedicated reading spaces, print collections and digital facilities to support medical education, independent study and research across SNMIH.
Library Space
The published infrastructure profile describes a 3,000-square-metre Central Library with dedicated areas for reading, circulation, journals, collections and digital access.
Reading Capacity
Two student reading rooms are reported to accommodate up to 300 readers at a time, alongside a separate reading area for faculty members.
Print Collection
The published inventory lists 4,292 textbooks and 250 reference books supporting undergraduate medical education and academic study.
Digital Access
The e-library section is reported to provide 45 computer nodes for accessing electronic learning and research resources.
